The EU Steelbook includes an English manual.

It is a combined DVD-Video/DVD-ROM, with a section that can be played in a DVD player, and a section that can be run on a PC (even if you bought the console version of the Steelbook). The Russian edition has the game translated to Russian (official localization by Akella), but the bonus DVD is in English and is the same between the two versions. The Russian edition uses a completely different image on the inner Digipak.īoth editions come with the game DVD and a bonus DVD with various multimedia content – screenshots, soundtrack, trailer videos, etc. The image on the Steelbook is a silhouette adaptation of the “Prince in a sandstorm” image. The Russian edition takes a more traditional approach, with a Digipak in a cardboard slipcase no “special” or “limited” or “collector” is mentioned anywhere, except the small yellow textbox in the middle of the backside, which lists the contents. This also means that the same Steelbook can be used for the PC, PS3 and X360 releases – only the sleeve is different. Other than the “Prince of Persia” and Ubisoft logos, all text is written on the sleeve, most likely because fine printing on aluminium is difficult. Microsoft - PLEASE FIX THIS.The EU Limited Collector’s Edition comes in a Steelbook DVD case inside a translucent plastic sleeve. Game has been removed for anyone who bought it and needs to re-download it. If I hadn’t kept the download I suspect I’d be unable to redownload it, like yourself and not be able to play my disc version, breaking backwards compatibility. I’m also concerned about this and hope it gets fixed soon. If it’s in your library you should always have access to it. Withdrawing it from digital sale is one thing, but if you buy and own something you should always be able to access it - like how it works on iOS for any movie or app purchase.

I suspect the unavailability has something to do with the new remake version coming out. It’s bad that digital only versions appear not to work. Putting theĭisc in and starting the game still works for me. When browsing the Store to see if there were any One X enhancements I noticed it said it was unavailable and wondered why. I had it downloaded on my XBone and transferred the game to a new Series X on set up.
